Please convey my appreciation to the principal and administration of Punjab Medical college as they've created a milestone in the field of higher education in Pakistan by expelling Ahmedi students across the board from the college. This disgrace to humanity, during this era, could only become a possible by these people only.
Please convey my request to the authorities in Pakistan for:
1. Immediate restoration of all ahmedi students and assurance for their safety from law enforcement authorities
2. Expulsion of those who are responsible for organizing mob activates in college and pressurizing the administration.
If it is not done, no doubt, my country Pakistan will soon be "talibanized" completely.

23 AHMADIYYA STUDENTS EXPELLED FROM PUNJAB MEDICAL COLLEGE
Arbitrary persecution of Ahmadiyya Jama'at in Pakistan continues
All 23 Ahmadiyya Muslim students studying at the Punjab Medical College
in Faisalabad, Pakistan have been expelled for no other reason than
their membership of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama'at, a Community based upon
teachings of peace, equality and tolerance.
Following pressure from members of the Islami-Jamiat-e-Tulaba, a
nationwide student organisation in Pakistan, the Principal of the Punjab
Medical College issued a notice confirming that the 23 Ahmadiyya students
had been expelled.
The justification for the expulsions was totally baseless and spurious.
It is yet another example of the cruelty that Ahmadi Muslims in
Pakistan have to contend with. The twenty-three students included eight males
and fifteen females. Four of the students, all female, were in their
final year of college and thus were only months away from qualification.
The Press Spokesman of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community said:
"Recently the National Assembly of Pakistan made a submission to the UN
Human Rights Council in which it stated its commitment to investing
and supporting the education of its citizens, as well as safeguarding the
rights of all minority groups. It is thus most unfortunate that less
than one month later, this violation of basic human rights has been
allowed. It is hoped that this wholly unjust decision is revoked
immediately."

Dear Sirs,
Thats great that Pakistan also have such type of organization but unfortunately such org. is useless if its not taking actions like the incident of Lal-Masjid. So sad to say that high class, burocrates, ministers, governers are not treated the same way as others are.
I read an article, today every citizen of Pakistan has forgot the incident of Lal-Masjid, only those remember who lost their loved ones inside mosque. Musharaf is such an idiot who martyred so many own Muslim brothers, sisters, daughters, sons of so many families. He even dnt feel shame doing that, ALLAH will not forgive killing of a non-muslim, then imagine how could ALLAH forgive killing of own Muslims, its moment of shame that people of Islamabad remained inside their houses, there is no justice in Pakistan.
Present conditions are so sad, poor cannot get food as prices are getting higher day by day, our leaders are begging USA to help them, they are depending not on ALLAH but USA.
They can make change themselves but keep banking on those who never think positive abt Muslims.
Musharaf is a bullshit coz he killed mercilessly innocent.
There is no use of such org. untill justice is given equally to all.
Beware of justice of ALLAH, when ALLAH comes to justice, people like Musharaf and many more dnt find a way to run, they simply perish.

HRC Pakistan, undoubtedly is doing good job in order to channel the voice of the helpless people who are mostly deprived of thee basic rights. Besides all these slogans and strives, the commission still is neglecting the people living unconstitutional part of the country (Northern Areas) where people are even accepted as the citizen of Pakistan, though living in the same country. The basic and fundamental rights of the people is even unquestionable .the commission should raise the voice against the basic and constitutional rights of the people Northern Areas which they too are demanding for 60 years.

The perfomance of Human Commission Rights Commission, Pakistan, is not hidden rather is before us. Wherever, oppressions are seen, HRCP tries to reach there and show to facts to poeples through media. It is commendable, indeed.
On the other hand, there is also a genuine complaint. I hope that Mrs. Asma Jahangir and her team would serously notice it that has greater concern with the human rights. The so-called Northern Areas of Pakistan, Which I call Kuhimir (region of Karakorum, Himalaya, Hindukush and Pamir), has always been neglected in the political and legal spheres; but I am surprised to see that it is also either ignored or forgotten by the HRCP. Is there any office as we see the provincial offices and even the special task force offices in different cities? if you do have, where is it? Can we opt for an operatonal office in Gilgit? Isn't absence of any office in the region itself a human rights issue within HRCP? If we claim for our objectivity, this facet of HRCP deems the claim? Or I don't know what may be the logic behind?

You have to tell all quarters of the Government as well as the civil society through your media to increase extra relief allowances in the forthcoming budget for the people living below poverty line.
A NGO survey report revealed that the minimum wages for a poor family must be rupees 15,000/-.
One measure is by evaluating a monthly budget for the lowest income of grade - 1 person / employee along with his 5 family members i.e. father, mother, wife and 3 x children encompassing the latest commodity rates.
Moreover, granting a full house rent allowance to the all employees as this will give a considerable reduction in prices of the rent in the entire country. Regards Amer Shahzad |

I am absolutely appalled at Ms. Asma Jahangir’s conduct on her recent trip to India. Ms. Jahangir’s meeting with Bal Thackeray and Narender Modi gives a reasonable person an impression that she went out of her way to appease these criminals. To add icing on the cake she sidestepped any criticism of the numerous human rights violations conducted by the Indian occupational forces in Indian occupied Kashmir. Ms. Jahangir when confronted by a private Pakistani channel TV anchor on her embarrassing conduct conveniently said that she is representing the UN as a Special Reporter on Freedom on Religion and Belief and that she had to meet with leaders from all walks of life to understand different views. First, she should not be holding two posts at the same time; as the Secretary General of the Human Rights Commission of Pakistan and that of an UN envoy. Second, she should carry herself with some dignity and not go all out expressing her love for the Hindu faith by wearing orange clothes and participating in Hindu rituals. She should have also adopted a reserve persona when confronted with Narender Modi and Bal Thackeray, who both have between them the blood of ten thousand Indian Muslims on their hands. I like many angry Pakistanis call for her resignation as HRCP Chairperson immediately on her return from India. She has let our nation down. This unfortunate episode comes on the heels of the Khalid Mahmood tragedy, the murdered Pakistani prisoner whose dead body was sent in return to the freed RAW spy Kashmir Singh. |

Salam to all so called HRCP members , I suggest you change the name of your orgnisation insted of HRCP, you must call it " ERCP, Eliet Class Rights Commisssion Of Pakistan" coz. most of your reports & publications are biased, infact as HRC you should not be drift either side, but you all paid by elite or feudal class political parties, Media, Lawyers & Judges. In CJ case you know better than evey one that CJ also involved in some illegal acts, but no body can say it openly coz. CJ including all judges & member parliments have very big "istehqaq" which could be "Majrooh" by a normal man's real comments, I am a pakistani too, why this law is not implimenting for me aswel? My "Istehqaq" also getting "Majrooh" every hour, every day, every step in this country, but as I am a normal man so, no body cares about. First of all you should remove this "Istehqaq & Majrooh" term from the constitution or should be fairly apply to every Pakistani. Infact this all HRCP is the umbrella for all above mentioned parties & peoples which you are providing them, not for a common Pakistani. Also you all members join this so called HRCP to protect your own self & to get name fame & black mail the culprits. I doubt my comments will not appear in your comments page. People are getting restless the crime ratio increase in Pakistan was never so much high as it is now and its rising with the same elevation rate. People here are told that they will get Mega Structures , Mass Transit Systems, New Housing Plans and many more. Will this Joke ever end peoples are fooled by those who are already enjoying these facilities but the Question is: “When will this stop?” For GOD sake don’t fool your own people those people who have supported you. I am glad that foreign organizations are helping us but when will that time come when our own people will help each other. Its rightly said by a Saint that “Go help the peoples, because God dwell among the people”.
I appeal to the whole nation to get together and solve the problems and its time to save the home which is burning before its too late that your own home gets burn. |

I want to bring your attention to a very important issue.The current Musharraf government is always saying that in their government they always protected women's rights. This is the impression that they give to the west all the time. First of all, who will give moral justice to Shahida(Maryam) from Mianwali, a small, backward place? Secondly, is the HRCP as efficient in smaller towns as it has been in the major cities? Thirdly,in a district like mianwali where Dr, Sher Afghan Niazi and his son, Amjad Ali Khan who are appointed wholly solely administrators by President Musharraf and in such a scenario will Shahida get any kind of help from your organistion?

A girl (named Almas) was murdered by her nephew (brother\'s son). Her age was 18 years. She was shot four bullets in her head. The FIR lodged by her father and step-brothers reported that she committed suicide. The post mortem report reported that she had been shot four bullets in the head which cannot be a suicide. But the father and brothers of the girl used their influence and bribed the local police. So the police also termed it as a suicide.
It is commonly beleived that the step-brothers killed her to have her share of land. She had previously purchased a mobile set for her. |

As we know that the daughters of Molana Abdul Aziz are taken by the police on seven days remand...please do something to stop this cruelity because Tayyabah and Asma are yonger than 18 years....i remember the case of two girls which were charged of homosexuallity and when court send them for remand many NGOs came forward and tried their best to save them.those girls who were involved in the sin of homosexual marriage.all the human rights organizations were supporting them...where r that organization and NGOs now? why dont they raise their voices againt the remand of innocent girls (Asma and tayyabah)??why???? please do something for them.may Allah bless u |

i salute the services of the commission for the people of this country.but i feel that the commission has not yet strikes at the basic ionjustices which are root cause of many evils in the social fabric of our religious society.we believe that there is no freedom when there is no rule of law.can this commission one day publically say that certain laws which has religious sanctions behind them are out dated and need certain amendments particularly those laws which r relating to the rights of the women (as wife and daughter).i believe that either your gums will calm down one day or u have to take issues like these.by the way if you organise some seminars which indirectly discuss these issues and initiatibg some debates on such topics along those great services you are already rendering will ultimately help in taking society in forward direction. |

May the 12TH 2007 would be remembered as one of the bloodiest days in the history of Pakistan’s financial hub; Karachi. The final count rested at 35 dead and wounds to around 150 .It was yet another example of state sponsored terrorism wherein one of the political party that also has its share in the ruling government in the province was allowed to unleash its power. It reminisces me of the yester years where the same party was notorious for running torture cells that were used to terrify opposition workers and foes alike. Thanks to then Chief Minister Mr. Abdullah Shah and Interior Minister Mr. Nseerullah Khan Babar the barbarism ended and scores of terrorists were brought to task and many including the leader had to take political asylum in UK. I feel pity for hundred of thousands of Karachites who have been taken hostage for the last three decades by couple of people dictating there terms from thousands of miles away.
I feel that United Kingdom is equally responsible for the bloodshed in Karachi. How could a country that claims itself to be the champion of human rights provide asylum to political figures who have their hands in the death of thousands of my country man. Imran Khan has also pointed out this in his latest press conference referring to the asylum of Mr Altaf Hussain political leader of MQM in UK. I therefore request your honor kindly to initiate investigation and review the policy of providing political asylum to people from around the world .I would further request you to initiate charges of mass murder and torture against Mr Altaf Hussain and bring him to justice.

I may bring into your notice about a harsh attack on a KTN (Kawish Tv)Reporter by PPPP MNA.
Incident took place today before the supreme court building (Islamabad) on the eve of Supreme Judicial Council's Hearing, wherein a correspondent of KTN and Daily Kawish Mr. Shakir Solangi was callously beaten by a PPP MNA Mr.Murtaza Satti along with his workers. It's ironic to note that none of the senior parliamentarians of the PPP including, Makhdoom Amin Fahim,Raja Parvez Ashraf,Yousif Raza Geelani and sherry rehman bothered to intervene. Rather they kept witnessing that gruesome scene. It's still beyond the comprehension as to what provoked the MNA from a party (PPP) to which, KTN had been offering its unflinching coverage throughout and KTN has been offering its covrage to all the democratic parties without any discremnation for the cause of justiceand righteousness.
We condemn this harsh attack on shakir solangi by PPPP MNA strongly, and let me say that it was not mere an act of harassment against a poor individual but against the freedom of expression, freedom of press & media and freedom of people of Pakistan as a whole. I am afraid it is an attack on the Pakistan Peoples Party's credibility and popularity indeed, as one of party leader commented that it is a conspiracy against peoples party. However, it can not be categorically construed to be a conspiracy unless the senior party leadership comes forward to punish the culprit involved.PPPP must notice these approches.

To say that people still commit crimes in nations that have the death penalty, is not a sufficient argument for abolition.
People still commit crimes in nations that do not have the death penalty, as well.
Such a feeble argument could be used against jailing criminals too. Taking that premise, you could say that jails should be abolished because even with jails, crime is not eradicated.
That is a recipe for anarchy which, from personal experience, I can tell you is absolutely unbearable.

Veteran journalist and Resident Editor of Pakistan Press International (PPI) Islamabad, Malik Mohammad Ismail Khan 53, who served 30 years as a journalist, was brutally murdered by unknown assailants in Islamabad (capital of Pakistan),at midnight on the 31st October/1st November 2006,and his dead body was found from the green belt area (Jungle) of F-6/1, some 30 feet away from Shaheed-e-Millat Road, opposite Super Market not so far away from his office (PPI), on 1st November 2006, in the morning as an unknown person, while his waistcoat was near his body and his identity cards were in it, it was found by the Police later on in the day. They contacted his office (PPI) Islamabad in the afternoon, and PPI staff told his family members about the incident after 2pm in the day.
His family members,some politicians and journalist community of twin cities (Rawalpindi and Islamabad)and district Attock rushed towards the Palkistan Insitute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) where his dead body was in the Mortuary.He had no enmity and personal conflict with anyone. He had very good reputation as accommodative and well mannered, in the community of journalism.
He was born on the 14th of Febuary 1953 in the village Daurdad Tehsil and District Attock (Pakistan).His father Late Muhammad Yaqoob Khan was an active member for the Movement of Pakistan and he was a true follower of "Quaid-e-Azam-Mohammad Ali Jinnah" and "Mother of Nation-Mohtarma Fatima Jinnah". He gave support as an elected member of Electrol College of Pakistan from his district Attock (then Campbellpur) to Fatima Jinnah (Sister of Quaid-e-Azam) against Gen.Ayub Khan in presidential elections and faced false cases but did not bow down.
Muhammad Ismail Khan started his career in journalism as a correspondent of (PPI), and daily "Taameer", from Attock (then Campbellpur) in 1976. He was a staff reporter of the daily "The Muslim", "Pakistan Times", and "Frontier Post". Later on he joined (PPI) as a staff reporter in Islamabad.He worked as a Bureau Chief (PPI) Peshawar, Bureau Chief daily "Frontier Post" in Islamabad, Special Correspondent and Columnist of the daily "Mashriq", Chief Reporter "Online News Agency", Bureau Chief and Resident Editor of "(PPI) News Agency", and worked as a script writer for Radio Pakistan.
He got married in 1977 with, the daughter of the prominent poet Syed Majid-ul-Baqree (R) Deputy Director of Information (Punjab), who was appointed as District Information Officer in Attock at that time.Both of Malik Ismail's sons are well educated and well mannered. One is living in the UK and the other was living in Pakistan with him.
He was a much loved and respected, son, brother, husband, father, uncle and grand father, he will be dearly missed and his family will not be able to come to terms with how he died until his killers are found and punished.It is more sad that his killers are still at large.
He was very well known, honest, upright ,fearless and a conscientious journalist who was widely admired and respected in the community of journalism for his qualities of professionalism and character.He was a thorough gentleman who always worked for independent journalism in Pakistan.
There are mysterious circumstances surrounding his death because he had no enmity with anyone, plus it could not have been a mugging as his wallet was intact except for his mobile phone which is still missing. Doctor Khawaja who did the autopsy stated that it was a “target killing” and there were very clear marks on his wrist, whilst the police said, that they tied his hands before taking his body to the hospital.
He was murdered when he went out from his office at 9:30pm on 31/10/2006 for a walk. According to his colleagues, he looked and behaved normally that day. He did not seem in any way disturbed by any threats. Journalist community of Islamabad offered his Funeral Prayer on the 1st November at 6:30pm in front of office of the Daily Dawn, and the next day on the 2nd of November he was buried in his native graveyard of Village Daurdad (Attock) where his Funeral was offered by thousands of people from different walks of life including Ministers, Parliamentarians, journalists, lawyers, Nazims and notable personalities of Districts Attock, Rawalpindi, Islamabad and Peshawar, which was led by former Provincial Minister and prominent religious Scholar Qari Saeed-ur-Rehman, Principal Jamia Islamia, Kashmir road Rawalpindi Cantt.
His brutal murder is widely condemned through out the country by Politicians, Journalists, Lawyers and other people of different walks of life. Journalist’s national and international organisations including Committee to Protect Journalist (CPJ), International Federation of Journalist (IFJ), Pakistan Federal Union of Journalist (PFUJ), and all the Press Clubs and Union of Journalists strongly condemned the murder of Muhammad Ismail Khan and demanded a thorough investigation and early arrest of the murderers. Former Prime Ministers of Pakistan, Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto and Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif strongly condemned the murder of Mr. Ismail, and paid rich tributes to him for his qualities of character and professionalism.Even though the government have claimed that they will find the murderers very soon, up until now the murderers are still at large. WE APPEAL TO EVERY PERSON AND EVERY ORGANISATION IN HELPING US FIND THE PERPRETATORS OF THIS HORRIFIC MURDER
